Job Description
Meta’s Host Networking team plays a pivotal role in enabling world-class AI capabilities at massive scale. This team is responsible for millions of Network Interface Cards (NICs) across Meta’s global infrastructure, as well as the transport layer that supports Meta’s AI Training and Inference Accelerators
We are looking for a skilled, driven, and forward-thinking Software Engineer to join this high-impact team. This role is your opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and large-scale distributed systems that power Meta’s AI workloads across the globe.

🎯 Key Responsibilities
• Design & Develop:
Design and implement drivers and/or firmware for advanced Ethernet adapters, RDMA transport stacks, and control functionalities for host and accelerator communication.
• System Integration:
Work on stack bring-up in simulation (e.g., Qemu) and emulation environments (e.g., FPGA) and test in scaled physical infrastructure.
• Test & Deliver:
Build robust test systems and contribute to the integrated CI/CD pipeline for seamless software delivery.
• Scale & Debug:
Collaborate in large-scale system debugging efforts and optimize system performance to meet AI cluster demands.
Minimum Qualifications
• Strong programming experience in C, C++, and Python
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel development, especially with drivers and networking stack
• Deep understanding of RDMA transport stacks, preferably RoCEv2
• Demonstrated ability to debug large-scale distributed systems
• Willingness to commit to the same role/team in India for a minimum of 24 months
Preferred Qualifications
• Familiarity with Qemu or FPGA-based emulation environments
• Prior experience working with large-scale NIC deployments or accelerator communication stacks
