The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released the CEN No. 02/2025 Notification for Technician Grade-I Signal and Technician Grade-III posts. This is a golden chance to join Indian Railways and secure a prestigious government job!

 Key Highlights : 

• Total Vacancies: 6,238

• Technician Grade I Signal: 183 posts

• Technician Grade III: 6,055 posts

Pay Level:

• Grade I Signal: Level-5 (₹29,200)

• Grade III: Level-2 (₹19,900)

Application Mode: Online Only

📅 Important Dates :

• Start of Online Application: 28 June 2025

• Last Date to Apply: 28 July 2025 (till 11:59 PM)

• Last Date for Fee Payment: 30 July 2025

• Application Correction Window: 01 to 10 August 2025

 Eligibility Criteria : 

•  Age Limit (as on 01.07.2025)

Technician Grade I Signal: 18 to 33 years

• Technician Grade III: 18 to 30 years

Age Relaxation:

• OBC: +3 years

• SC/ST: +5 years

• PwBD, Ex-Servicemen, etc.: As per rules (see Para 5.1)

Educational Qualification Varies post-wise. Generally:

• ITI in relevant trade OR Act Apprenticeship (Course Completed)

• Diploma/Degree holders are not eligible unless specified.

NOTE: Candidates awaiting results are not eligible to apply.

 Medical Fitness :

• Medical Standards: A3, B1, B2, or C1 depending on post.

• LASIK or similar surgeries not accepted for A3 posts.

 Application Fee :

• UR/OBC/EWS: ₹500

• ₹400 refunded after appearing in CBT

• SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM/Female/Minority/EBC: ₹250

• Fully refunded (after deducting bank charges) post-CBT

• Online payment only through Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, or Net Banking.

 Selection Process :

• Computer Based Test (CBT) – Separate for each pay level

• Document Verification (DV)

• Medical Examination

 Negative Marking in CBT: 1/3rd for each wrong answer

 Important Instructions :

• One application per pay level only.

• Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification recommended for faster processing.

• Modification after submission is allowed from 01 to 10 Aug 2025 (₹250 per change).

• Final selection is RRB-wise and post-preference based.
