💼 Position Summary:
Are you ready to contribute to real-world financial risk prevention and regulatory excellence? Genpact is on the lookout for passionate, detail-oriented individuals to join as a Business Analyst - AML/KYC for a 6-month project-based engagement. In this role, you will review and verify documentation for new customers or entities, summarize findings, conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), and help identify potential compliance risks in line with financial laws and industry protocols.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review and validate KYC/CDD documentation for various entities: corporations, charities, individuals, etc.
• Identify gaps in documentation and request additional information in accordance with internal procedures.
• Conduct due diligence to ensure documentation aligns with policy and jurisdiction requirements.
• Review Beneficial Ownership (BO) and Key Controllers, perform sanction screening and check for adverse media.
• Accurately assign risk ratings and perform risk-based due diligence.
• Summarize investigations into clear, concise narrative reports and recommend appropriate actions.
• Monitor and track incidents to ensure timely resolution within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Interpret evidence and data from multiple systems/tools to validate customer legitimacy.
• Maintain updated knowledge on regulatory changes and adapt processes accordingly.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for better efficiency and accuracy in compliance.
Minimum Qualifications:
• A university graduate (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
• Prior experience in back-office operations, compliance, account review, or AML/KYC investigations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and digital systems.
• Strong communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
✅ Preferred Qualifications:
• Hands-on experience in AML, KYC, and CDD/EDD within the FinTech or E-commerce domain.
• Exposure to client onboarding processes and legal checks via external regulatory sites.
• Familiarity with various entity types and ownership structures such as:
Charities, SPVs, PIVs
Financial institutions
Listed/non-listed companies
Collective Investment Schemes (CIS)
• Expertise in investigation techniques for adverse media, sanctions screening, and transaction surveillance.
• Capability to independently research and resolve open discrepancies.
Knowledge of AML tools like:
Actimize, RDC, Fortent, Norkom, Lexis Nexis, Bridger XG, SIEBEL, Dow Jones.
Excellent understanding of regulatory terms and AML/KYC terminology.
Advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and reporting dashboards.
