Key Responsibilities
As a Management Trainee in the Order to Cash (O2C) domain, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end order to cash cycle. Your core duties will include:
Processing Purchase Orders:
• Validate Purchase Order (PO) requests to enable accurate billing.
• Ensure timely and error-free invoicing including manual, consolidated, and automated invoice types.
Client Engagement:
• Regularly interact with clients to gather feedback and deliver continuous support.
• Be prepared to support operations across different locations, aligning with client expectations.
Collections and Dispute Management:
• Implement strategic plans for timely collections and manage dispute resolution processes.
• Lead and manage customer account reconciliations and financial follow-ups.
Customer Interaction:
• Engage with end customers via emails and calls to collect overdue payments.
• Maintain professional communication standards to build and sustain customer relationships.
Target Achievement:
• Ensure that all collections-related targets (monthly, quarterly, annually) are met or exceeded.
Collaboration and Governance:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and regional Financial Managers.
• Represent the team in governance meetings and stakeholder interactions at the country or regional level.
Team Leadership:
• Collaborate effectively with your team, motivating them to meet KPIs and delivery goals.
• Drive knowledge sharing and promote continuous process improvements.
Process Improvement:
• Identify gaps and areas for improvement in the O2C cycle.
• Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) is mandatory.
• Proficiency in German Language – Minimum C2 Level (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Order to Cash (O2C) operations.
• Good understanding of invoice types (Manual, Consolidated, Automated).
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
• Master’s degree in Finance (MBA – Finance) is a strong advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Working knowledge of SAP and experience in generating SAP reports.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and deadline-oriented approach.
• Adaptable to dynamic business environments and open to rotational shifts.
