🎯 Roles and Responsibilities
As a Data Engineer – Data Integration, you will be entrusted with transforming data into meaningful insight, collaborating cross-functionally, and working on real-world projects that matter.
Key responsibilities include:
• Designing and implementing scalable data warehouse solutions on Snowflake, including schema design and query optimization.
• Developing ETL pipelines using Talend to ingest, cleanse, and transform data from structured and unstructured sources.
• Integrating cloud platform data into Snowflake using native tools and Talend workflows.
• Applying dimensional and relational data modeling techniques to support data analytics and reporting.
• Designing and implementing enterprise search solutions such as Elasticsearch and Splunk based on business needs.
• Collaborating in Agile teams with engineers, consultants, data scientists, and DBAs to solve business challenges using statistical methods and predictive modeling.
• Writing robust code to automate data validation, cleansing, and governance within ETL processes.
• Building reusable programs to integrate data efficiently for large-scale business analytics.
• Participating in performance tuning and workload optimization strategies for Snowflake databases.
🎓 Education Requirements Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred:
• Master’s Degree in Data Science, Software Engineering, or a similar specialization.
Required Technical Skills
• Proficiency in designing and building data warehouses on Snowflake.
• Strong command of Talend for ETL development.
• Skilled in data integration from cloud platforms using Snowflake native tools.
• Solid understanding of dimensional and relational data modeling.
• Hands-on with SQL, Shell scripting, and custom automation processes.
Preferred Technical Skills
• Knowledge of Snowflake optimization techniques, including clustering keys and caching strategies.
• Experience with data quality frameworks and validation pipelines.
• Ability to profile, cleanse, and transform high-volume datasets in an automated and reusable fashion.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and CI/CD pipelines.
