Key Responsibilities & What You’ll Be Working On
You’ll be an integral part of Nike’s evolving tech ecosystem. This role combines problem-solving, platform thinking, and hands-on coding to shape the future of Nike's global digital operations. Your day-to-day activities may include:
Development & Engineering Tasks
• Design, build, and deploy cloud-native, highly scalable, and resilient applications.
• Work with technologies such as Python, NodeJS, React, and JavaScript.
• Contribute to proof of concepts (POC) exploring new open-source tools and frameworks.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high quality and secure code delivery.
Cloud & DevOps
• Gain hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS (Amazon EC2), Google Cloud (GCE), Azure, etc.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and strengthen your DevOps skills.
• Help build and improve platforms focused on performance, reliability, and security.
Team Collaboration & Methodology
• Be an advocate for Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Embrace a growth mindset and constantly seek to enhance systems and workflows.
• Support cross-functional teams and contribute to the adoption of open-source and modern development practices across Nike.
