Key Responsibilities
As an EasyMesh Engineer, you will:
• Develop, test, and implement EasyMesh features in Qualcomm WiFi chipsets.
• Work alongside device driver teams to ensure seamless integration with host processors.
• Be responsible for commercialization efforts with global ODMs (Original Design Manufacturers) and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers).
• Contribute to debugging and optimization of embedded WiFi performance under real-world, high-pressure use cases.
• Collaborate across teams to maintain product timelines and feature roadmaps.
• Troubleshoot and solve complex issues in embedded networking systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 1–3 years of overall experience in software development.
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with C programming in a professional setting.
• Experience working with WLAN standards and a strong understanding of wireless protocols.
• Hands-on experience with real-time embedded systems.
• Exposure to firmware development on small memory footprint processors.
• Solid understanding of Networking, Ethernet, and Wireless LAN driver development.
• Experience with EasyMesh and Self-Organizing Networks (SON) is a big advantage.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
Preferred/Bonus Skills
• In-depth experience with EasyMesh, Wi-Fi SON, and IEEE 802.11 standards.
• Experience working in a global development environment.
• Contributions to open-source networking projects.
• Familiarity with Qualcomm chipsets or SDK environments.
