Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Trainee Apprentice at American Express, you will:
Manage Daily Processes
• Deliver on various day-to-day processes by managing, monitoring, and maintaining critical data and reporting systems.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all tasks while maintaining process efficiency.
Document and Standardize Procedures
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for every assigned process.
• Assist in preparing and refreshing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to keep them relevant and compliant.
Leverage Technical Skills for Process Improvement
• Understand technical processes and write efficient, clean code.
• Use programming knowledge to identify optimization opportunities and implement automation where possible.
Data Management & Analysis
• Work with large datasets, performing data mining, cleansing, and transformation tasks.
• Support data migration to cloud platforms, ensuring data integrity and security.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Collaborate with multiple teams and departments to gather accurate and reliable data.
• Participate in tactical project support, ensuring deliverables meet quality and timeline expectations.
Adaptation to New Technology
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and implement innovative, well-executed solutions.

Ad-hoc Support
• Handle special requests for solution support without compromising on quality or deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills
Educational Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 11 months of experience are eligible.
Technical Skills:
• Programming: Proficiency in one or more of Python, PySpark, SQL.
• Bonus if you know Big Query, Hive, or Google Cloud.
Data Visualization:
• Experience with Tableau or Power BI is advantageous.
Data Handling:
• Skilled in data mining, cleansing, and transformation.
Additional Knowledge:
