Mastercard invites skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Analysts to join our dynamic agile team in Navi Mumbai. This role will primarily focus on performance engineering using leading tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Postman, and monitoring utilities like Dynatrace, Splunk, AppDynamics, and Grafana.
You will be reporting directly to the Performance Testing Lead and collaborating closely with cross-functional agile teams to ensure our products are secure, scalable, and performant at a global level.
Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the performance testing lifecycle of enterprise applications as part of an agile team.
• Prepare and develop load test scripts using JMeter.
• Conduct various types of performance tests including:
Load Testing
Endurance Testing
Scalability Testing
Spike Testing
• Analyze performance test results and identify potential system bottlenecks.
• Document results with actionable insights and share reports with stakeholders.
• Log and manage issues and performance defects using Jira.
• Generate required test data and set up appropriate test environments.
• Execute pre-defined test plans and maintain continuous performance regression.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and stakeholders in requirements reviews, user story elaborations, and testing activities.
• Demonstrate test results and performance trends via live demos or reporting dashboards.
• Share testing best practices and suggest performance improvements across teams.
🧠 Skills and Expertise
Essential Skills:
• 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in performance testing of enterprise-level or mission-critical applications.
• Proven knowledge in performance test methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience creating workload models and gathering performance requirements from stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills for creating Performance Test Plans and Reports.
• Proficient in JMeter; exposure to LoadRunner and BlazeMeter is highly desirable.
• Strong foundation in API testing using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or equivalent.
• Experience with web services testing, understanding of API protocols (REST, SOAP).
• Hands-on familiarity with monitoring and analysis tools:

Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear documentation and stakeholder engagement.
