We are inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Data Science. This role sits within our Commercial Analytics Enablement team, where your impact will directly shape customer engagement, business growth, and strategic decisions. About the Role: Business Analyst, Data Science

As a Business Analyst in Data Science, you will support commercial analytics initiatives by driving data-driven insights and enabling business transformation at scale. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to develop AI-powered applications and customer-centric solutions using advanced analytics, Generative AI, and visualization tools.

This is a role for someone who loves solving business problems using technical expertise and who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You’ll not only analyze data—you’ll also help build the tools and platforms that businesses use to make critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities:D

• evelop and implement classification, regression, and time-series forecasting models using ensemble methods.

• Perform data exploration and statistical inference to extract actionable insights.

• Design and build front-end AI applications using Streamlit, Gradio, Flask, or FastAPI for effective input-output handling of GenAI models.

Use Generative AI for tasks such as:

Text generation

Sentiment analysis

Chatbots

Language translation

RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) and agent-based model implementations

Generate insights and create predictive models using GenAI techniques for simulation and data generation.

Build and deploy chatbots that utilize scalable data sources to generate dynamic charts and business statements.

Ensure smooth weekly release cycles, upgrading existing algorithms and deploying new features.

Work closely with stakeholders to understand evolving business requirements and tailor analytical solutions accordingly.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (BE/BTech), Computer Applications (BCA/MCA), or Science (BSc/MSc)

• Strong academic background in statistics, data science, or machine learning

• Solid understanding of data modeling, visualization, and analytics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional certifications in Python, SQL, R, or related data tools

• Prior experience in an AI-first environment with exposure to enterprise-scale deployments

• Demonstrated experience in building user interfaces for analytics tools and AI models

• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS/GCP/Azure is a plus

 

Technical Skills Required:

• Languages: Python, SQL

• AI & ML: Ensemble methods, Generative AI (LLMs, RAG, Agent-based systems)

• Frameworks: Streamlit, Gradio, Flask, FastAPI

• Data Science Techniques: Predictive modeling, Statistical inference, Forecasting

• Visualization: Chart generation from bot-interpreted queries

• Tools & Deployment: Git, Docker, version control, CI/CD pipeline experience preferred
