Job Description
As a Junior Engineer - QA Intern at Cornerstone, you’ll be at the front lines of delivering reliable, high-performance software. You’ll work alongside a talented QA and development team to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts, ensuring the software meets the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using in-house frameworks and tools.
• Execute and monitor automated test cases to validate software quality.
• Understand and contribute to software requirement discussions with developers.
• Analyze and report defects effectively and help drive resolution with engineering teams.
• Manage and maintain test environments, test data, and documentation.
• Engage in test planning, estimation, and strategy sessions.
• Stay current with industry-standard test practices, automation trends, and tools.
• Participate in QA process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Adhere to agile methodology and help ensure consistent and reliable software releases.
Eligibility Criteria
• Education: BE/B.Tech in Computer Science or related field (final year students may also apply).
• Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with any programming language – Java, Python, or C+ preferred.
• Basic knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or TestNG.
• Excellent debugging and analytical skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Passion for quality and continuous learning.
• Familiar with CI/CD tools – Jenkins, TestNG, JUnit, or TeamCity (nice to have).
